Happy hollidays guys! I hope you all had a amazing Christmas. I don't know if there are other countries that also celebrate a 2nd day of Christmas but we in the Netherlands do. We have 2 days of Christmas. Which really comes in handy because if you are a family with separated parents or if you have in laws, you can easily choose on which day you want to visit them :)
With christmas both me and my boyfriend's family are really focussed on the food, we tend to pig out and eat whatever we want, so will it be haha :)
I also want to thank my subscribers for visiting my blog and subscribing to it. It gives alot of motivation to see appreciation for my posts and that people like my styling/outfits :) So thank you so much ladies and gentlemen! I've only started blogging this last October and I already feel alot of love from you and have recieved many support :)
If you haven't already follow me on instagram or bloglovin so we can be friends on there too :)
I love this city! I've been born and raised in this sometimes busy but beautiful city named Dordrecht. I've spend my 23 years on this earth living in this city which gave me some hard times but I've enjoyed many times too. That big church in the back of the picture is very famous in my city and many tourist like to see it and even climb it. Yes you can climb the stairs inside, and there are alot of stairs believe me.. But when finally reaching the top you have a amazing view over the city centre.
Although it's fall/ winter it was a very beautiful day because it wasn't very cold, it was actually very windy as you can see in the pictures ( don't mind the hair guys, it was flying everywhere!) But there was a really nice sunshine that kept me from getting cold. Therefore I took my opportunity and wore my favorite blouse from TFNC london together with my leggings from Zara. I love wearing this blouse during the Christmas season because it's casual but if you dress it up it can be very classy too.
The Zara legging has some faux leather details on the side, which I thought it would look great with this blouse :) I bought this legging a year ago in the winter period. It's amazing how some pieces can still be used over and over again without getting out of style.
I kept it simple with the jewelry since I wanted to keep the outfit casual but fun. As usual you see me wearing some knuckle rings. I actually bought some sets of ebay, H&M and ASOS and threw them all together in a bowl, so now I can't tell which one is from where. As in most of my outfits I'm wearing my MK watch again, this baby never leaves my side :). And to top it off I'm wearing this necklace from House of Harlow.
It's almost Christmas guys, only a few days left :) But I won't be expecting any snow here soon.. Have a amazing weekend!
are slowly coming up and I can say that I’m so excited about it. Spending time
with family and friends, eating the most delicious food while later regretting
that we all ate too much. Yeah the holidays are great! However a lot of people
already tend to fixate on the new year coming up and slowly forgetting this
year. Although the last few months haven’t been the best for me as I decided
not to continue my study, I did enjoy this year as I had the opportunity to
travel to 2 continents and being reunited with my dad. Therefore try not to
think too much about the negative things, but cherish the beautiful things in
life. Something I will definitely not ‘furget’ is my fur vest, I love this baby
this beauty with my leather jacket to keep me warm during the cold days. The
burgundy blouse finishes it nicely as it gives a small hint of color, which is
what I needed. Do the boots looks familiar? I wore them in the 'MK day' post, whenever I feel like pulling a bad ass look I go with these babies! :)
fur vest - China (shanghai), jacket - Bershka, blouse- Zara, high wasted jeans- h&m, boots- New look.
changes are killing me nowadays. The weather has made a sudden change from
bearable into freezing my butt off! It’s only a 0 c degrees but it feels like
the ice age has started all over again. My o my am I feeling it, also it’s
getting dark a lot. So for this week’s look I decided to go (almost) all black.
I’m wearing my favorite Bershka jacket that I bought 1,5 years ago in Spain,
and still loving it until this day. This jacket is perfect for all seasons
since it can be pared up with several cute outfits, therefore I began to see
this jacket as a accessory to me J
As I was
going to see a few places that day I decided to wear my small backpack which I
adore so much. It has some studs and a snake leather print (close up not
available sorry) I will post one on my Instagram soon. (follow me if you haven’t
already J ) .
As I was
going for a darker look I wanted to keep it feminine and cute, therefore I went
with these black platform boots from Steve Madden. I had them for a while and
they still amaze me every time I wear them. I need to wear them some more but
sometimes I forget about these babies, that’s what you get when you have a lot
normally more of a ‘color girl’ I hope this outfit can be appreciated.
Jacket- Bershka, blouse- River Island, jeans- F21, boots- Steve Madden, backpack- Fuku (bought in China , Ruian), Scarf- LV
The weather is getting more chilly now christmas is finally in sight. So let's bring out the sweaters again!
I love this cobalt blue sweater so much because It's really warm and cozy. It's made out of a really thick material but doesn't itch my skin, cause I really hate it when that happens.
I decided to pair up this great sweater with some of my fave pieces from Michael Kors. The legging, bag, watch and bracelets are all Michael Kors pieces. I always get attracted by the black/ gold tones pieces in the MK collections for some reason. The boots are from New Look.
A little close up from my necklace which is not from Michael Kors but from ebay. I love the combination of the necklace with amazing blue colors. They have such beautiful statement necklaces on ebay, you should check it out sometime if you haven't already.
A last close up from the MK accessories together with my knuckle rings that I adore! :) I love the combination of goldware with burgundy nails in fall. It has been my favourite for many years now.
Seasons come and go, but I don't want fall to leave on me just yet. I love layering and mixing fall colors and especially camo! I love this camo jacket which I normally pair with leggings or skinny jeans, but this time I decided to pair it up with a black skirt. The weather seemed good enough to pull it off so why not? And I think I like this look. As for the shoes I decided to keep it plain by wearing some black suede shoes with no heel. I just didn't feel like wearing heels.. ever have that feeling?
Although I have to accept that fall is going to leave me soon, let's look on the bright side.. the festive season is almost here! Lots of sparkle and bling is what we need. Looking forward to play dress up for Christmas and newyears , how about you?
Love the details on this jacket, so fun and colorful. The soft purple and navy blue colors give a small pop of color which brightens up the jacket. And wearing my favorite gold watch, which I wear almost daily.
Camo jacket- Bershka, black skirt- H&M , black suede boots- River Island, watch- MK
Athough it's getting a lot colder recently, I still love to walk along the riverside and gaze away.
Since I took a break from school for a year, I decided that this year I'm going to find my inner self (sounds a bit deep right? I know) I'm going to take on many projects and do what I've always wanted to do. But on a smaller scale , because I still need to go to work though :)
I might as well enjoy my walks along the riverside for now before the winter starts again, which makes it unbearable to be there , cause I'm freezing my butt off.
As for the outfit, I kept it simple but cozy since it was quite windy.
I decided to pair up my favorite boots and my fringe bag because they remind me of fall with the soft brown colors. I'm also wearing my black jeans from New look with a casual black shirt from H&M. The jacket is vintage as I got it from my mom and she bought it in her teenage years, which is a long long time ago haha. Just a simple denim jacket with lace sleeves.
I didn't wear a lot of jewelry, just these two knuckle rings. A heart and a cross to be exact. The nailpolish is my favorite nailpolish for fall from Chanel in the color 573 Accessoire.
Fall has officially started when the leaves hit the ground, it did make me feel sad for one minute though. But then it came to mind that now it is time to cuddle up in some warm clothing with lots of layering and ofcourse PLAID!. Plaid is really my favorite thing to wear in the fall, especially the red colored ones. Since it is my fave thing to wear I thought I would show you how to mix styles while wearing a plaid shirt, there isn't just one way. so here are my 4 fave styles to wear a plaid shirt! :)
You can wear it the normal way but sometimes fall has it's warmer days. Therefore wearing a tanktop beneath your plaid shirt is an option. That way you can strap the plaid around your waist when the weather is starting to warm up.
Here I'm wearing an H&M tanktop, leggings from Blanco , white sneakers from H&M and plaid shirt from Hollister.
Another option for some warmer fall weather is to crop it up. You can do this by simply making a knot at the bottom of the shirt. You can wear some highwasted jeans with this look if you are not that fond of showing your belly.
Here I'm wearing an high wasted jeans from Forever21, black platform boots from H&M and my plaid shirt from Hollister.
The third style is great for when the weather is starting to cool off. Just add some fall boots with some details to spice it up to keep your feet warm and cozy. This also gives you the option to wear your favourite silly socks. At least I do.. Then all what's left to do is throw on some (faux) fur. I choose for this faux one that I bought in Shanghai last summer, it's really warm.
Here I'm wearing an high wasted jeans from Forever21, brown boots from Zara, Faux fur jacket from a random store in Shanghai, and my plaid shirt from Hollister.
My 4th and last way of wearing a plaid shirt is by mixing it with some boyfriend jeans. This is a good option for some colder weather or some rainy days. It's comfortable but still shows some effort.
Here I'm wearing my boyfriend jeans from River island, Mocassin boots, H&M tanktop and plaid shirt from Hollister.
Fall is a nice season to bring out some cozy clothing, thats why I love dressing up for fall. Sometimes it's good to invest in some good quality key pieces that last for several years. Plaid will never get out of style, it's a fall musthave. This is just a way of showing that you can wear some key pieces multiple ways so you can get your money's worth.
Stay tuned for more fall outfits and accessories that I love.
