In order to grow we got to get uncomfortable in order to feel comfortable. This is one of my favorite quotes, because it's so true! Looking back at my experiences in life I often felt really uncomfortable when trying to pursue something in life. I also most of the time decided to quit. Now I'm older and hopefully wiser, I hope to finish all of my 'passions' in life and never ever quit before trying.

One of my passions in life is fashion, and although I have no clue what I want to study next or pursue in life I do have my fashion. I love to be creative with fashion and display outfits that I've put together. That is the reason why I started blogging, to release my creativity :) And although fashion is often linked with 'high fashion' I decided that today I wanted to post a ' budget friendly ' early fall outfit , because fashion is not always about wearing expensive pieces and showing your wealth. For me fashion is creativity and looking cute while at it :)

For my budget friendly outfit I decided to wear some well know brands that are (almost) available everywhere. So if you like the pieces you are able to shop them, or find related pieces, or maybe you have something similar in your closet! The blazer and the v-neck are bought from the latest H&M collection so you might be able to still buy them in store or online. As for the clutch it's also purchased this month so it might still be available on the website. I hope I gave you some cute budget friendly inspiration.  I always love articles about what's in people's hand bags, suitcases and make-up bags. So today I will show you what is in my make-up bag. These are the items that I use on a daily base for casual wear ,and most of the time what I wear on my face in the pictures.
I won't show you any lipproducts just because those variate everyday and I like all sorts of colors on my lips.
First let me start with this cute make up bag that I got from my boyfriend. He knows me too well, I love the classy look and the cute bow ofcourse. Before I would stash all of these items in my make-up drawers but ever since I got this bag I like to keep it together so I'm able to find things more easy in the morning.

The first thing I start with in the morning is hydrating my face. I've used alot of creams and hydration products which always seem to fail me. My face can't handle some creams and turns out giving me red or ichy skin. But I've been looking and looking and came to the conclusion that the store Yves rocher has the right creams for me, I don't know why. I've been using the Sebo vegetal gel creme for a long time now and it moisturises very well and leave my skin in good condition. However other products from that line do tend to give me ichy skin, so there might be a difference in ingredients.

Let me start by saying that I don't like to have a lot on my face. Foundations, primers, spot correctors name it all, I don't like it. I only use powders on my face, I like my face to breathe. I don't know how to express the feeling, they just feel like 'too much' for me. As I like to keep things more natural, I love this face powder. It gives a great teint to my face and covers it lighty. The make up brush next to it is my favourate! Yes it really is my favorite, it is the flat top studio brush by ELF cosmetics, the brush itsself is so cheap I bought it for €3,50! It applies so easily and light, I just love it.

As for bronzer and blusher I love to use these 2 in combination all the time. They give a healthy glow and great addition to the shape of my face. I don't use the bronzer all the time but the blush is a daily musthave for me. When wearing the 2 products together I get a lot of compliments on how 'fresh' my look is that day, which is positive :)

The eye area. I wear eyeliner/ pencil on a daily base. I love to have a soft brown line underneath my lid to make my eyes appear fresher. As for the upper lashline I sometimes use this black kohl liner by mac to give the illusion of fuller lashes, by wearing it on the inside of the upper lid. My brow powder has never changed in these years that I wear make-up. It's a very affordable product that fulfills all of my eyebrow needs :). My mascara's are always changing, I love variation in my mascara's because some mascara's give other effects. This came to a point where one time I had over 8 mascara's in my make-up drawer, which was a little too much for me. Lately I've been using this one by Yves Rocher. It's pretty good in doing it's job, but next time I need a more long lasting mascara.

Wonderful days begin with wonderful food, no? Maybe, but I like lunch better! It's quite funny how all small diners are suddenly stocked with people whenever the weather tends to get warmer. We had one of those days recently. The sun was all out and the temperature was just right, that's a reason for celebration right?

I feld kind of a rebel that day so I decided to make the typical 'lunch outfit' a little more edgy. So I switched my dressy pants for some edgy jeans by G-star raw and why not put on my fave winter boots on as well since I won't be wearing them that much anymore pretty soon!

Sometimes it's a good thing to step out of your comfort zone more often, it let's you enjoy life a little more. I can't wait for Spring and Summer so I can go all out with my clothing. I used to be very conservative about how I dress in public, but I decided that I can wear whatever I want where I want while I'm still young. I'm getting a year older too this year which made me realise , now is the chance girl! Be silly and girly! but you can enjoy those outfits very soon!

 Lately I've been browsing a lot on sites like Pinterest and Polivore and even on YouTube quite a bit. I don’t know about you but it has quite a bad influence on me, because you are able to see where you can buy it!. I feel like shopping and spending lots and lots of money haha. I'm starting to love crop tops more and more. Before they were just like normal t-shirts or tank tops but then only shorter, lately I've seen some really cute and edgy ones like the ones above. these ones will be very cute to wear with long pants or even a cute skirt.

Sunnies! my favorite accessory of all time! really? well maybe, but I do love them. I love the cat eye trend that is going around lately. And now they are even expending it to cute colors for Summer also. both no.1 and no.3 are just fun to wear around, they are actually the same but another color. No 2. has won my heart, I'm definitely buying this baby. It has a fun but casual side to it which is perfect for my lifestyle.

We can't forget the round sunnies that are trending right now. I don't know the specific name of it but I call them the 'John Lennon sunnies'. These are so cute for the upcoming festivals or a picknick in the park. A boho outfit will be also great with these babies.

And last but not least, bags! Bags are always so cute and stylish. When buying bags I don't fixate on the latest trends because they always make a come back. However backpacks and bags with tassels are trending right now. I love wearing cute little backpacks when I'm going to hang out, this leather one makes the look more edgy. For more casual wear I love bold bags with a little twist, no 2. will be one of those bags. And no 3. is just gorgeous as it is, and would be a great addition for a night out with your bf or a girls night!

Today I'm going to share my Spring time make up favorites, which will be a whole new addition to my blog. From this post on I will be posting at least 2 times a week. By having beauty/ lifestyle articles at the beginning of the week and outfit/fashion articles at the end of the week.
First on my list are 2 Sleek products. The Sleek Divine Original palette and 'life's a peach' blusher. The palette has some great Spring colors in it that I absolutely adore. The blush is just perfect to wear on it's own, the pigmentation is amazing and compliments my face a lot.

However I love to wear the Sleek blush on it's own, it also makes a amazing combination when blending it on my cheeks with this bronzer from Benefit Cosmetics. The Hoola bronzer has the exact right color for my skin tone. Ever since I use this bronzer, I haven't found anything that works better for me.

My fave liners for Spring are very bright, just how I like them. The two lipliners are from Mac in the colors 'Dynamo' and 'Hip n'happy'. Dynamo is one of my favorite colors ever from the Mac pencil line, it can be worn for several occasions. The two eyeliners are from the brand Balala in the numbers 1 and 2. I bought these in China over the summer and I've fallen in love with them. They are also very long lasting.

To hydrate my lips I mostly use EOS lipbalms, nothing else really. And besides they look cute, are very hydrating, long lasting and smell amazing. What more can I say? :)

Lastly the nail polish, Spring isn't Spring without bright pastel, lively looking nails. I've chosen these nail polishes because they display the colors I normally wear during Spring but are more affordable. They are very affordable. From L to R: Catrice Lucky in lilac, Catrice let's mauve on, Essence Makes me weak, Essence tryin to be cool. These fun colors are cute for Spring and lasting quite long for what they are worth.

As we all know denim / all denim is a big upcoming trend for the Spring season, you see denim overalls everywhere. I love denim overalls. Long, short it doesn't matter to me I wear it anyway. I got this denim overall at H&M for a pretty good deal, H&M always has stylish pieces for affordable prices.


My shoes however got pretty much 'injured' during the oyster picking, I fell a few times because of the slippery rocks. This however gives me an excuse to buy a new pair, converse' are great! Great piece for a casual look and still puts some effort in your outfit.

Spring is headed our way, and I think I'm speaking for a lot of people when I say 'we are loving it!'. The streets are covered with sunlight and people are finally smiling again, amazing! So in today's post I'm going to show you my favorite Spring essentials which I love to wear during Spring and some even during Summer. I've been collecting some of them over the past years but there are also some new pieces that are still in stores right now, I will try to link those if I can find them on the web.

Nothing beats Spring than wearing your sunnies again. I love wearing sunglasses because first of all I won't get a headache from all the frowning, and second they make a great statement. I've got many favorite sunglasses but I try to switch them off with every emotion I'm feeling that specific day.
And with a nice pair of sunnies you got to have a wallet that goes perfectly with it. This wallet is from a few collections back but still one of my favorites. Bows might not be the latest trend anymore but it does steal my heart whenever I see this gorgeous wallet again.

What would this post be without any Michael Kors? You might already know by now that MK is one of my favorite brands and this watch is one of my daily key pieces, but I decided to show you anyway. How about some great earrings? With the warmer weather in Spring we can pull back our hair again, put it in a braid or ponytail or however you like it. This gives us the opportunity to let our ears shine again. I love studded earrings, they are subtle,dainty and you hardly ever feel them. The pink earrings are very special to me because they were a anniversary gift from my boyfriend. He loves to see me wear them and they sparkle a lot. The color is also perfect for spring.
And for my 'edgy days' I got this angel winged ear cuff which is so much fun to wear. It comes with a separate earring so you can 'connect' them towards each other.
